My name is Daniel Galecio, born and raised in Ecuador, lived for 8 years in Canada until became a citizen, and build my stage persona named: Mochila Deluxe who is a Body Diverse Gogo Dancer and Drag Queen performer. I was in another TV Show: Gogo for the Gold Season 2 - available on OutTv.ca Big personality, very competitive, fun and very latino. Mochila in Spanish means Backpack, in reference to my ass. Just kidding. I have been travelling the world the last 20 years taking me to over 29 countries as a backpacker. So thats where Mochila was born and still travelling and performing my light on stages around the world.
Its a great opportunity to help the industry heal this missconceptions that beauty has a standart or a shape, gender, form, race or style. With this title, is a great way to improve and help the world shift into a more diverse planet, making the human race, more human.
Ive been involved as a Model for 8 years now, when I was 350lbs or now that Im 220lbs, Ive always feel confident on my body because its not about the shape, is about the trust and your own mindset, that makes you able to conquer any runway. I would love to be part of this project, to inspire and bring up my modeling skills, showing some skin, storytelling and personality thru my body, my clothes, makeup and movement on the runway.
