Not stopping untill a goal is achieved is what I pride myself in the most but knowing not to set unrealistic goals is a superpower I learnt the hard way. My aspirations come from wanting more out of life, telling myself to achieve what people think is impossible for me but possible for everyone else.

The Fashion Hero Tv series is a blessing to our generation. It is difficult to break stereotypes but The Fashion hero show is breaking through that. Many people have neglected their dream of becoming what they desired to be because the fashion industry has been shaped a certain way. Now telling people that it is possible after-all is like raising the dead because it really is a miracle. Breaking those barriers that have stopped people from achieving their goals is totally amazing! The Fashion Hero show is “HOPE REKINDLED!”

All my life I have been bullied to think I I am ugly, worthless and Unable to achieve my dreams of becoming a model. I grew up in an environment where people constantly make remarks on my looks. My parents enrolled me in a girls only school, and most of the bullying I experienced was from there. Any opportunity the other girls have to make fun of my receding hairline, skinny body, dry chest or face they will hop on it. They me bullied me to think I was ugly. I had nicknames such as, spaghetti, tiny, flat bottom flask, miss acne..., my first breakthrough to seeing my beauty was when I was 15 and I looked in the mirror and saw how beautiful my lips are. I said to myself that day “I have beautiful lips.” It was a breakthrough for me given I never thought anything about me was beautiful. That moment lead to other moments of breakthrough as I grew up. Because of what I went through, I could easily understand other people going through self esteem issues and I constantly share my story to encourage people. I started a community to empower women to own their beauty regardless of their body size, shape and looks. Having a story is not enough to prove what I preach. I need evidence of my own. That is why I’m embarking on this journey with The Fashion hero show to share my story and prove that there is more to beauty than the standards that have been set by society, Every human out there is unique and beautiful and can achieve anything they put their hearts to!
