My name is Lenon Wakuwa I am a transgender woman transitioning from Male to Female originally from Zimbabwe but now a Citizen of New Zealand . I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Fashion design and Technology at the Southern Institute of Technology (S. I. T) Invercargill 2016. Also modeling for S. I. T, Hokonui Fashion Awards 2010 as well as New Zealand Fashion Week 2019. I an very passionate about fashion and I treat it as my hiding space, where I just loose myself and be creative in the midst of a chaotic world.

It will an amazing opportunity to showcase my talents while doing what I am very passionate about because Fashion is my Passion.

I will be a role model for all the young ones growing up to ne like me. Its always been my dream to be a part of Inspiration to someone facing similar challenges to mine. Being Transgender including a great understanding of the LGBTQI Community but regardless of the challenges and negativity I still rise up to follow all my dreams and my passion for Fashion until I make it to the Top. I am fearless, I am strong, I am shameless, I am unapologetic and I am proud of every single step I took both gokd and bad because it has all moulded me to be the Forever jopeful and Joyful person with big dreams and big vision that I am today.
