Hello, my name is Kyesha-Lee Williamson. I’m 22 years young and a proud Aboriginal woman from Australia. I am also a mother to my daughter who is almost 2. I was a competitive dancer from the ages 4-13, even travelling to America at the age of 10 years old for dancing. I have grew up in a very disadvantaged family, moving from one place to the next never knowing safety or stability. My mother had me at the young age of 15 and strived to make me into the amazing person I am today. I’m a loving, empathetic and resilient woman. From all my hardships I have become the brightest star sharing my love and kindness to everyone. I pride myself in having a heart of gold even though life tried to break me down, I never stopped shining and never dimmed my light!
Watching the fashion hero promo videos gave me butterflies, this is exactly something I believe I would blossom in. I always knew I was destined for greatness and watching this empowered me and is giving me such high hopes that maybe it could be participating in this amazing experience. I love how supporting and inclusive Fashion Hero is, I’d love to be able to show my culture and what it’s like to grow up in Australia!
I believe I would be a great role model because I absolutely love uplifting others and cheering on for the next person. I believe if I’m winning then I want everyone else to be winning to. It’s so easy to be kind and I love going that extra step as it heals my inner peace, I’m very much a giver. I want to show the world how bright I can shine and shine light on everyone else that may have started like me or is struggling to shine their own beautiful light! Everyone is beautiful inside and out, there’s no one beauty standard that is more than the next. I believe if everyone gave their love and positivity the world would be even more of an amazing experience not only for me but every single beautiful soul on this earth… past, present and future!
