My definition of beauty is of individuality and uniqueness. Beauty is the positive qualities expressed in all things, and/or individuals.

My name is Courtney Burns. I am 18 years old, working and attending school full time. For my job, I work with disabled adults and do everything I can to make their lives better and easier. Though many have said rude things and have physically hurt me, I continue to work with them and not give up on them. I have provided for myself for a long period of time, and have basically taken care of my brothers since I was 10 years old. I did't have much of a childhood due to this but wouldn't change it for the world. I have been a bullied victim since I could remember. I have always wanted to be a model, and have gotten many negative comments because of this. I was diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression because of everything I've gone through in my childhood. It kills me to see people being bullied. Everyone is special and I want to let everyone know, regardless of what they are dealing with, they are important. All should be loved and all should be respected.

I enjoy playing volleyball, posing for images, cooking, drawing, singing, and making people smile.
