A member of UBCP/ACTRA, Axel has appeared in supporting roles as an extra in several Hollywood productions filmed across the Lower Mainland between 2021 and 2024. His first credited supporting role was in Eternal Oath: The Blood Allegiance (2020), directed by Lyn Newton at Eye in the Sky Pictures. Axel is currently working on two books. His romance-action novel, Between Two Suns: An LDR Story, draws from his own experience the challenges and aspirations of long-distance relationships, blending emotional realism into cinematic action and metaphor. This novel is being developed in partnership with Book Publishing Hub LLC® in San Jose, CA, and carries the ISBN 978-1-0694572-1-9. He works closely with Emily Brown, Project Manager and Chief Editor at Book Publishing Hub LLC®, who guides the project toward successful publication. His second novel, a horror mystery titled Whispers of the Dark Seal, is set for release on Mother’s Day 2027. He collaborates with Anna, a Project Manager based in Toronto, Canada. On this novel, Axel pursued a profound journey in search of his true calling, hoping for a kind of miracle to awaken and manifest the giant within him, the dormant spirit of the actor waiting to emerge. Though initially fearful of embracing this new path, especially within the demanding world of Hollywood, Axel’s experience of navigating uncertainty and courage became the foundation for the story’s themes of bravery, hidden truths, and discovering one’s authentic voice, reflecting his ongoing quest to fulfill his purpose. In fashion, Axel was selected as one of the Top 34 contestants during the December 2020 pre-qualifying rounds of The Fashion Hero TV series, a competition that celebrates diversity and self-expression in fashion. This experience marked a turning point in his personal confidence and creative vision, inspiring the launch of his luxury shoe brand, VaLorina Collection, in 2021. Designed and crafted in Italy’s prestigious Shoe Valley, the collection combines elegance with comfort and pays tribute to family through its name—Valerie, Lorenda, and Ina. Axel’s dedication to community service and humanitarian values was deeply influenced by his late grandmother, who founded an orphanage and house of worship in the Philippines, leaving a lasting legacy that continues to guide him. Since 2017, he has volunteered with We Care for Humanity (WCH) as a Publicity Ambassador and was recently inducted as a humanitarian ambassador for the organization at the 7th Royal Summit in Las Vegas. In recognition of his creative work and community impact, Axel will be honored as one of the "Men of the Year" at the 7th WCH Royal Summit, held on May 27–28, 2025, at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The summit is organized by We Care for Humanity, founded and chaired by Queen Mariam Leonor Torres Mastura, to celebrate individuals making meaningful contributions across diverse fields. Recently certified as a Healthcare Assistant from Drake Medox College, Axel is advancing his career in healthcare. He is currently gaining hands-on experience in inpatient care services with the Food and Nutrition Department at Burnaby General Hospital (Fraser Health). This role enables him to support patient well-being while further developing his practical and interpersonal skills. Axel continues to build his path step by step—with quiet resilience, a collaborative spirit, and a vision grounded in authenticity and care.

I believe I’d be a great fit for The Fashion Hero because my actions, values, and family background align with its mission to promote inclusivity and individuality. Being a role model starts with family, home, workplace, school, and activities. It’s about demonstrating character and integrity in everything I do. My family, especially my grandmother, taught me the values of compassion and service. Her legacy of founding an orphanage and house of worship in the Philippines has inspired many, including those who now serve as pastors and church planters. In my healthcare career, as a collective team we help provide tailored, nutritious meals for patients at Fraser Health Burnaby and continue my education as a health Care Assistant . My volunteer work with We Care for Humanity reflects my commitment to making a positive impact in the community and serving those in need. I live by the values of compassion, service, and integrity in everything I do, whether at work, school, or other activities. It’s not just about what I do, but how I do it—living with purpose to inspire others to embrace these values. My investments in local businesses and emerging technologies also reflect my drive for positive change. Through my creative work, including my songs and involvement in The Fashion Hero, I strive to promote humanitarian values, family, and challenge narrow beauty standards. With a strong foundation of love and compassion, I am dedicated to carrying forward the values passed down from my family into everything I do.
