I am a force! Young, beautiful, intelligent,strong and powerful. Yolanda is ambitious, motivator and full of strong will. A student at University of KwaZulu-Natal. An entertainer from a young age, crowned 'Miss Autumn Kokstad at 13 years old' and 'Miss Mount Currie' at 17. Yolanda Yalezo has a strong desire to succeed both academically and being an entertainer. I will not only be 'The Face' but I will be 'The industry'.

Fashionhero is not only a great television show but also a great movement. It sets a new groundbase for women all over the world. It teaches acceptance and self-worth to many youngsters and changes the way fashion is viewed by society. Fashionhero embodied and welcomes 'different'. The series is an amazing shape-shifter of what society considers or wants to be 'normal' when it comes to what to wear and what is "suitable" for whatever body or ethnic group you belong to. The series is a great teacher of unification and change to negative societal "rules".

I am already a great role model and being the new face of 'The fashion hero' will be me continuing and enhancing myself being an inspiration to people. I will preach and practice the celebration of people in their every shade, colour and depth. I will convey the very same message and teach women out there to love themselves. Show the world that it is okay to be different which I have already started to do with my organization 'Virago:Imbokodo'. I help and encourage children and women out there to be okay with whoever one is and to continue working hard for your dreams.
