QU’EST-CE QUE JE PENSE DE LA SÉRIE TÉLÉVISÉE THE FASHION HERO?

When I think about The Fashion Hero and what they are doing, it gives me hope. Not everyone on the Planet has Model Perfect bodies. Not everyone looks like Beyonce or Chris Evans. There are normal people like me who want a shot and the industry and can't because they have some flaws. The Fashion Hero gives people that chance to get into the industry

POURQUOI VOULEZ VOUS ÊTRE LE MODÈLE DE CETTE GENERATION ET INSPIRER PLUSIEURS GENS EN ÉTANT LE NOUVEAU VISAGE DE THE FASHION HERO ?

I think I would make a great role model for my generation, other generations, and inspire people because of my story. I grew up in a single-parent home. I lived with my Mother and Brother. We lived on low-income for almost our entire lives. We have had to live on welfare, public housing, food stamps, etc. So, I know what it is like to come from humble beginnings. For most of my life, I was the shy quiet kid who always sat in the back of the classroom and, did not engage with anyone except the teacher. I had low confidence within myself because I was always the shortest kid in the room and I was on the hefty side. Some of the kids in school would tease me about my height and weight and that really made me have low self-esteem, I was scared to talk to people because I was afraid that they would judge me on my appearance. In my senior year in High school, that is when I realized that I can't be afraid to talk to people and I can't hide in the shadows anymore because It is only going to hurt me in the long run. So I decided to get more involved with the school and joined the Student Senate. After joining them, my shyness left my body because I realized, talking to people and engaging with others is not as scary as I had thought. I had to speak publicly and I had to speak on the senate floor whenever a bill was being voted on. I got to well known at my school and since then I have never had a shy bone in my body. Near the end of my senior year, I wanted to focus more on self-care, so I decided to lose weight. I cut out all fried foods, junk foods, and red meats. I worked out like crazy and I went from 200lbs to 132ibs within a year. I started getting into modeling early 2020, I would go out and do photoshoots around the Kansas City area with my aunt. After we reviewed my photos and realized that I had some potential, she purchased a home photo studio and had our photoshoot at her house. After we took the photos, I sent them to modeling agencies around the KC area and waited for some responses. I am happy to say I did get responses to every agency I submitted to, but their responses were "We love your look, you have potential, but unfortunately, you are too short" when I got that response, it reminded about how people made fun of me because I was short. I have to say, it kinda hurt. So, when I heard about The Fashion Hero, I knew I had another chance. The message of this story is, don't be afraid to face your fears, if you fear something challenge it. Don't let the poverty you experienced when you were a child affect you later in life if you wanna make it out work for it. Lastly, never take no for an answer. If you have a passion for something work as hard as you can to meet your goal, and again, do not take no for an answer.
