Enduring childhood taunts such as "giraffe" and "sketchy runner" left lasting impressions, propelling her towards a commitment to self-improvement. Presently, Irene dedicates herself to regular gym sessions, fostering a healthier physique and confronting her body image insecurities head-on. She is also high functioning on the spectrum. Her disability is auditory processing disorder and dyslexia. Driven by a pursuit of confidence and self-love, Irene embarks on a journey of personal growth in the upcoming year. Moreover, she aspires to contribute meaningfully to her family's well-being and honor her grandfather, currently battling stage four cancer. In a gesture of solidarity, Irene seeks to join a show, potentially providing support to her family and eliciting pride from her ailing grandfather, who is slated for surgery at Sloan to combat lung tumors. Irene now works for a company currently called Abilis. She is a life coach for a person with a disability in a group setting. Irene wants to show others that different is beautiful. Irene is currently in her masters for clinical psychology with a concentration and clinical mental health counseling and graduated with a bachelors in psychology.

I personally think it’s amazing how the showing encourages self-love, and how strong the bond is between each contestant. I could honestly tell that it’s a judgment free show, and that they truly believe that different is beautiful. The show is very compatible with what’s in my heart. My heart feels that people should all be treated equally and that everybody is beautiful just the way they are.
