I define beauty by the entirety of a person. Sure, the look is somewhat important to catch the eye of another, but having an ugly inside really dampens and negates exterior beauty. It is rare to have one with the other, but that is the most rewarding thing. When you find true beauty, it could be a once in a lifetime experience for some. Magazines promote a narrow and shallow version of beauty, requiring high cheekbones, chiseled figures and a height of 6 foot or more. Only a small quantity of people can fit this criteria, leaving the rest of us behind. Being rather short I have had opportunities in modelling but I fall short in the 6 foot memo. I have never seen height as a contributing factor in beauty so I am thrilled that an opportunity like this has finally come along.

I am an 18 year old New Zealander and am fresh out of College. I have many interests, but just to name a few I enjoy staying fit with Taekwondo in which I am a senior red belt, I have a great interest in fashion and my big passion is modelling and acting. Modelling has been something I have wanted to do for quite some time now, but I have had to face the harsh reality that I am too short for what is sought after. I am a hard working, friendly and cooperative person, and the modelling and acting industry is something I am really striving to be a part of and what I want to eventually break into. Living in New Zealand is pretty restricting in terms of the modelling and television industry because we are so isolated from the rest of the world. I believe that with passion, hard work and an unstoppable attitude anything is achievable. Having a chance at such an incredible career opportunity is something I know I need to work harder than ever if I want to achieve it, so hopefully with such a chance I can use it to my advantage and make something of myself in a field that I love.
