Beauty of one of the world's most subjective and diverse words, because it can mean everything. Beauty can be associated with harmony, originality, grace, the feminine,... However, for me, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Beauty is everywhere. Note, it is true that beauty is also highly related to the cultural climate and social conventions of a certain time. What was for example considered as a stereotype beautiful woman in medieval times is perhaps not entirely the same anymore than what is considered a beautiful female role-model in our modern times. The same goes for art, architecture, clothing,... And that's why I like the mission of "The Fashion Hero" so much: challenging the way the world thinks about fashion & beauty, is perhaps a bold but, more importantly, an extremely interesting objective, because, through this way, "The Fashion Hero" also challenges conventions and popular patterns. It is in a way revolutionary.

Greetings dear visitor! Let me introduce myself: My name is Sari. In the summer of 2010 I discovered the world of photoshoots and modelling. A new world opened up to me: a world where fashion, creativity, emotion, persuasion, confidence, expressiveness and courage all mingled together in a beautiful and highly interesting combination. From the day I did my first photoshoot until now (about 200 photoshoots and workshops further on), I'm still passionate about the wonderful world of fashion and art. I may be a little bit different than other models since I am intrigued by the alternative and fantasy scene. I often use this as an inspiration to create a certain feeling, a story. Nevertheless, one thing I also definitely learned throughout the course of time, is that the world of brands, fashion and photography encourages me to explore different sides of my personality. I believe it's not possibly to summarize a person in just one term. An individual personality exists out of many aspects. For this reason, my main 'goal' is to search as many aspects as possible in myself, and I truly place confidence in the fact that the diverse fashion industry can help me with this.
