I've been to art schools where people get intimidated by each other because one looks more stunning than the other. But a flower without a firm stem will wither anyway, so I really feel that beauty comes truly from within. I have seen plus sized models looking as stunning as the slimmer models, because of their personalities and I respect them. They're my inspirations. It's not easy being a plus sized girl in today's world but neither is it difficult to stand out. Having the brains complement external beauty greatly and I feel that sometimes people overlook that in plus sized girls and this is what I hope to change.

I am a second year undergraduate of NUS! I am into singing and acting and all things performing arts since I was very young. I am a plus size, & I feel that there is a need to show that not every model has to be a size 6 to be visually pleasing. I feel people get the wrong concept about bigger people. Some of us do try; and beauty is not enough to come off attractive, I feel that personality pretty much completes it.
