A pure, humble heart and soul, a beautiful person is one that is selfless and works toward empowering others.

I don't know where to begin! I am half Japanese, half caucasian, and I have lived in 4 different countries, 8 different states, traveled to over 30 countries and 48 states. Saying that I have the travel bug is an understatement. I spend every penny I make on travel! I have left a piece of my heart in every place I have visited, but I have taken something from each place as well and it defines who I am. Other than travel, I dedicate a lot of my time to stop bullying. I was a victim of bullying growing up. I now make it my priority to stop bullying and I have partnered with my best friend to create an anti bullying platform, Lady Code. Another powerful platform that I have is my beauty pageant title. After 3 state titles, I finally won my first national pageant title, Miss Nationwide 2014. It is my priority with this title to not only promote this new and exciting organization, but also to give back to my community and to be a positive role model. One last thing: I LOVE fashion. When I was 20 years old, I created my own swimwear line called Vizcaya Swimwear. It is now a rapidly growing brand and I am so excited to see where my career as a swimwear designer will take me. I also have a fashion blog where I share my outfits and inspirations! Fun facts: I have a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University I also have a History minor I have studied abroad twice during my undergraduate studies I speak 3 languages I was home schooled I am a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity I've hosted an episode of a Japanese TV show Nothing can stop me from reaching my goals!
